How does chat work?
- Wait for the chat room log in box (above) to
appear. This should take less than a minute.
- When you see the white chat room log in box
enter a 'nickname'.
- Click the 'enter' button. In less than a minute
the chatroom will appear on your screen.
Inside the chat room you can:
- Pick an icon that suits your
personality!
- Change the screen colours
- Change the size of the type
- Change the speed of the chat
 Please keep the chat here friendly and supportive.
- Pictures of some of
some of the people that chat here!
Problems?
- For best results you should run the latest
version of the Firefox browser
on your computer.
- If you get the message 'server down' try again
later.
- If there is nobody in the room, try again later.
- If you wish to ignore someone in the room,
highlight the person's name in the list on the right, and click the button
marked with an ear. This will prevent you from seeing messages from that
person.
- Report any problems to Jooly. Include in your message the nickname of the
person causing the problem and today's date.
- Note that from time to time Jooly logs
transcripts of the rooms for monitoring purposes.
